Aujourd'hui, je suis allée à Tours avec Sylvia et Laurin. Nous avons vu deux châteaus et la maison de Leonardo Da Vinci. Premier, nous avons visité le château Chenonceau. Chenonceau est sur le bords de la rivière Cher. Le château est très joli est Laurin, Sylvia, et moi avons eu du plaisir de voir Chenonceau, la rivière Cher, et les beaux jardins. Après Chenonceau, nous avons visité Amboise, un château sur le bords de la rivière Loire, une rivière très connue! Suivant, nous sommes allées à la maison de Leonardo Da Vinci. J'ai aimé la maison de Leonardo Da Vinci parce que il y avait beaucoup d'inventions de Leonardo Da Vinci.

I just really loved seeing the chateaus because the craftsmanship is so impeccable. These castles have been around for over 500 years, and I just think that is incredible. The rivers were gorgeous as well, and it was refreshing to get out of the city for a while and see what smaller French towns are like. I wish Christina had been there to tell us about the history and tid-bits about the castles, though! They are fun to look at, but it is much more meaningful when you know the background and exciting stories.
